Call for Special Sessions & Events

We kindly invite you to propose a WICT Special Session (SS) and/or event. WICT 2011 is intended to be a forum for discussing the state-of-the-art innovations in ICT and address various issues on applying them in the real world.

Call for Special Sessions (SS)
Please collect at least five potential papers, and write paper titles, author information as well as SS organizers’ and submit to Special Session Chair (Prof. G.S. Tomar: gstomar@ieee.org). The SS & Event Chair check the scope of the SS proposals and approve them. When each approved SS has enough number of accepted papers, the SS is established and included in technical program. All papers of both regular sessions SS’s will be submitted through the WICT 2011 paper management system, EasyChair, and reviewed with the same review process.

All accepted and registered papers will appear in the proceedings published by IEEE and fully indexed by IEEE Xplore.

Call for Events
Your idea of WICT 2011 events, such as competitions, panel discussions, demonstration booths, and any others, are welcome. Please describe how to realize, schedule for preparation, estimated cost and others in a proposal form in free format and submit to SS and Event Chair. They are reviewed taking into account  the necessary space, cost, time, attractive effects and others and approved.

Submissions: Please submit an SS proposal and/or Event proposal as an email attachment to SS and Event Chair with a copy to wict11@mirlabs.org

Event Proposal Due:  July 31, 2011
Special Session Proposal Due:  July 31, 2011
Paper Submission:  August 15, 2011 ->>Paper submission (extended deadline): September 20, 2011
Notification of acceptance:  October 15, 2011
Camera-ready of accepted papers:  October 31, 2011
Registration of authors of acepted papers not later than:  October 31, 2011
Conference:  December 11-14 , 2011
