Proposals for Tutorials/Workshops and Special Sessions are welcome. The proposals should focus on a specific topic that broad appeal and fall within the aims and scope of the HIS conference.

Hybridization of Intelligent Systems is a promising research field of modern artificial/computational intelligence concerned with the development of the next generation of intelligent systems. A fundamental stimulus to the investigations of Hybrid Intelligent Systems (HIS) is the awareness in the academic communities that combined approaches will be necessary if the remaining tough problems in artificial/computational intelligence are to be solved. Hybrid Intelligent Systems are getting popular due to their capabilities in handling several real-world complexities involving imprecision, uncertainty and vagueness. The objectives of HIS'19 are to increase the awareness of the research community of the broad spectrum of hybrid techniques, to bring together AI researchers from around the world to present their cutting-edge results, to discuss the current trends in HIS research, to develop a collective vision of future opportunities, to establish international collaborative opportunities, and as a result to advance the state of the art of the field.

Session organizer(s) will be responsible for advertising, promoting, and chairing the parallel special session during the conference. Papers will be reviewed by the panel reviewers from the Session Program Committee and approved by the General Conference Program Committee. Each Special Session is expected to have at least 5 papers and at least one author of each paper must register for the paper present during the session. Special Session paper submission will be done through HIS 2019 submission management system and been evaluated with the same standards as the regular conference paper.

All proposal submissions will be reviewed by the HIS 2019 Tutorial/Workshop and Special Session chairs and the General Conference Committee. The following criteria will be considered: Relevance, interest, and value of the topic to HIS 2019 attendees. Complementarity to the HIS 2019 program provided by the other tracks. Completeness, clarity, and quality of the session proposal.
Qualification of the submitter(s) to organize the Special Session. Likely success of the proposed Tutorial/Workshop/Session. Overlap with other proposal or pre-selected activity. All accepted papers will be included in the AISC Series of Springer, indexed in ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink.
