Short Biography
Dr. Binod Kumar is MCA-Dean & Professor at Jayawant Technical Campus (JSPM's Group), Pune. He is having nearly 15 years of teaching experience. He has served in various Engineering Colleges like MIT Alandi,Pune, MCA-HOD in LNCT Bhopal, IT-HOD in Medicaps Institute of Technology , Indore and Institute of Science & Technology for Advanced Studies & Research (ISTAR), Anand, . Before joining MIT he was Associate Professor at School of Engineering and Computer Technology , Quest International University, MALAYSIA. After serving various Engineering colleges, he joined JSPM's Jayawant Technical Campus on December 21, 2012. He is PhD guide in Computer Science and Engineering under AISECT Univ., Bhopal and PACFIC Univ. Udaipur and Three Ph.D. candidates are registered under his supervision. He has obtained PhD (CS) in 2010 , M.Phil. (CS) in 2006 , MCA in 1998 and M.Sc. & B.Sc. in 1995 &1993 respectively . He is Technical Reviewer and Editorial Board member of nearly 20 International Journals . He has been associated with Technical Program Committee member (TPC) of nearly 22 International Conferences India and abroad. He is Technical Reviewer of THE JOURNAL OF COMPUTING published by Computer Society of India (CSI). He was Chief Editor of National Journal of Engineering Science and Management (ISSN: 2249-0264) published by LNCT Bhopal. He is member of IEEE Computer Society, ACM, International Association of Engineers (IAENG) , Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers(UACEE) , The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications ( SDIWC) and CSI. He has published 30 papers in International and National Journals. He has attended more than 20 National conferences / seminars. His areas of interest are Data Mining, Bioinformatics and Software Engineering.
