Short Biography

Cezary Grabowik received his MSc degree and PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Silesian University of Technology in 1995 and 2000, respectively. His PhD dissertation dealt with computer added process planning of chosen group of bodies. He is currently assistant professor in Institute of Engineering Processes Automation and Integrated Manufacturing Systems in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology. Cezary Grabowik is appointed as reviewer in many international journals and conference papers. His research interests is focused on computer added process planning, scheduling, application of artificial intelligence in mechanical engineering and production management and also on improving of CAD/CAM/CAE software functionality by means of original applications.
