Assuredly, the main objective of my life was learning. I start the
research process under the supervision of Dr. Azam Bastanfard at summer of 2006. As my first
experience, I worked on "Age Classification" problem. In the first place, IFDB was gathered
which is a unique database in the world with subjects with different ages. I received my B.Eng.
in
software engineering from I.A.U, Karaj Branch in 2007 with honor.
The idea of my next serious research project was formed in 2008, i.e., "Kinship
Recognition." At that time, there is no background in this hot topic and I faced many
challenges. This work has three contributions. In the first place, opening a new trend
in the word of machinery pattern; pursuing this further, a new database (IFDB ver. 2) was
gathered; finally, a novel feature detector has been proposed.
in the light of receiving my Master degree in software engineering from I.A.U, Qazvin Branch in
2010 with honor, it was easy to see that I could work as a researcher assistant meanwhile I was
referee of several International Conferences. 2011 coincided with the opening of new horizons
in my life which were Starting Ph.D. as well as doing research activities at the International
level. I learned many outstanding topics while pursing my PhD at I.A.U, Science and Research
Branch. I had a golden opportunity to work under supervision of two distinguished researchers in
Iran, Prof. Shanbehzadeh and Dr. Pedram, to reach remarkable success in "Facial Kinship
Recognition."
I am indebted of Prof. Adamatzky, who is among the leaders in the Unconventional
Computing domain, for my research achievements at the International level in the field of
Cellular Automata. This friendship has continued and besides working in Pattern Recognition, I
have a wide range of activities in Forming Persian Patterns. |
