Short Biography
Eng. Alhamdoosh received his B.Eng. in Informatics (Major of Artificial Intelligence) in 2008 from University of Aleppo, Syria and M.Sc. in Bioinformatics in 2012 from University of Bologna, Italy. He worked on his Master thesis at Bologna Biocomputing Group under Prof. Rita Casadio and Prof. Piero Fariselli. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under Prof. Dianhui Wang in the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering at La Trobe University, Australia. His current research interests include computational intelligence systems for bioinformatics. He focuses on random weights neural networks, ensemble learning, one-class classification and learning from unlabeled and highly imbalanced data.
