Short Biography
Dr. Dimitris (formally Dimitrios) E. Simos is currently an ERCIM/Marie Curie Fellow within the Project-Team SECRET of the research centre INRIA Paris-Rocquencourt located in France. Recently, he was awarded an ERCIM ``Alain Bensoussan'' Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
He received his B.Sc. in Mathematics (2006) from the University of Athens. He holds an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematical Sciences (2007) and a Ph.D. in Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorics (2011), both obtained from the National Technical University of Athens.
He is the author of several papers in the field of Combinatorics and recent Fellow of the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications (FTICA). He is an Editorial Board Member (EBM) for three International peer-reviewed Journals and he has served as a Program Committee (PC) member for international conferences. He is organizing the International Workshop on Modern Cryptography and Security Engineering (MoCrySEn). He also serves as a reviewer for various journals and conferences.
