Short Biography
Ashish Sharma, received his B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from GGSIP University's government college Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Delhi in the year 2012 being among the top university rankers. He is GATE qualified and is presently involved as an undergraduate researcher at AIT, Delhi under the supervision of Dr. Binod K. Kanaujia, working with his research team comprising of M.Tech and Ph.D students where he has worked on projects funded by DST and AICTE, GOI.

He is a keen researcher in the field of Microwave Engineering, Compact multiband and broadband antennas, metamaterials, communication systems and low power devices.

He has a good command over EM simulations like Ansoft's HFSS, Agilent's Appcad, and Zealand's IE3D and other electronics CAD softwares like PSPICE, CCStudio, MATLAB etc.

He research interest has led him to present a paper at IEEE conference SCES-2012 held at MNNIT-Allahabad, India. More recently few of his papers have been submitted for review at IET's MAP journal, IEEE-CICN conference etc.

Being an IEEE member throughout the engineering years, and in the purview of IEEE supporting women engineers, Ashish has recently studied perceptions and apprehensions on being a woman engineer, and consequently co-authored a research paper submitted for review to IEEE TENCON-2012.

As the founding Chair of the Eco-club AIT, fully funded and supported by Dept. of Environment, Govt. of Delhi, Ashish has significantly promoted the "engineering  conscious towards environment" among the college students.
