Prof. Swati V Chande has around 29 years of experience in teaching, industry and research. She also has an extensive corporate and technical training experience. She obtained her Ph.D. from Banasthali University, M.S. in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and also has a M.Sc. in Mathematics. 

Her research interests include Nature Inspired Computing, Database Management Systems, Genetic Algorithms, and Software Engineering.

Association with different academic institutions and Universities in diverse capacities including being a member of Academic Council, Research Board, Boards of Studies, Curriculum Committees, Departmental Research Committee, etc.

Dr. Chande has been a resource person for FDPs, MDPs, Refresher courses, Workshops, Orientation Programmes, Teachers’ Training Programmes and Seminars, and is on the editorial board and also a reviewer for International Journals and Conferences. She has been actively involved in the conduct of several national conferences in the capacity of convener/ co-convener/ session-chair/ co-ordinator.

Prof. Chande has authored a book, significant number of research papers and articles in national and international journals, conferences and magazines, and has edited and co-authored course modules for Open University programs.
