Professor Ortiz-Arroyo is currently an associate professor in Aalborg University in Denmark. He worked in the past as assistant professor and research associate for several reputed Mexican Universities. His research interests include computational intelligence, machine learning, data mining, information retrieval and high performance computing. He has published more than 50 papers and technical reports in reputed journals and international conferences and has edited 2 books. He has more than 15 years of experience working in industry, as engineer, consultor and director of software development for several companies in Mexico and USA. He is a regular reviewer of international conferences and reputed international journals published by IEEE, Springer and ACM in his areas of interest.
Daniel graduated with a PhD. in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department of Oregon State University in the US. |
