Short Biography

I have graduated Kazakh national University named after al-Farabi, Almaty, Kazakhstan. I have got: BSc in Applied Math(1997), MSc in Applied Math (1999), PhD in Mathematical Modelling, numerical methods and computer programs at Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, Almaty, Kazakhstan (2003). In 2010 I have got my second PhD in Computer Science at King's College London.

I was teaching at Kazakh-National University named after al-Farabi since 1999 until 2011. Currently, I am teaching at Kazakh-British Technical University. My teaching subjects are: Parallel Computations, Self-Adaptive Systems, Software Design, Human-Machine Interactions, Computer Networks.

I worked at several research projects since 1999 related to the mathematical simulation of the oil extraction problem simulation, in particular, to solve inverse problems; software development.

I am leading one project funded by Ministry of Education of Republic of  Kazakhstan. The project is related to the self-adaptive systems development to intelligently control oil extraction process (2011-2013).

I have published over 60 papers, proceedings, textbooks and one monograph as a co-author. I am a reviewer of the journal: Journal of Applied Mathematics and Statistics http://uscip.org/JournalsDetail.aspx?journalID=29 As well as I am co-organizer and a reviewer of several international workshops.

My research interests cover SOA, self-adaptive systems, and QoS-based service composition during design-time and run-time, inverse problems, parallel computations, optimization methods, swarm intelligence, multi-agent systems.
