Short Biography

Adebayo Kolawole John holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.sc) and a Master of Science degree (M.sc)  in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara state of Nigeria and the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria respectively. Furthermore, he holds PhD in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg as well as a joint Ph.D. in Law and AI from the University of Bologna, Italy and  University of Turin, Italy, as an Erasmus Mundus scholar. He has a deep passion for knowledge transfer in bridging the digital divide in the developing countries. He is the CEO of Coolgate Technologies, an IT outfit which trains people on various IT professional certifications while also developing software applications for its booming clients. 

His research interest is in the broad area of Machine and Deep Learning systems especially in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and ICT diffusion and adoption.
