Short Biography
I was born in GuamuchilSinaloa, Mexico in 1980 and lived there until I went to college at Tepic Institute of Technology
in 1998 and then to the Tijuana Institute of Technology in 1999, in summer 1999 I was a visiting student at Culiacan Institute of Technology, receiving the B.Sc. in Computer Systems in 2002 and the M.Sc. in Sciencies of the Computation in 2005, both from the Tijuana Institute of Technology, and a DSc degreee from Baja California Autonomous University in 2010; I'm currently working toward a B.Sc. in Mathematics from ESAD. I have received grants from CONACYT and SEP for studies and research projects.
Since January 2012 I'm member of the CONACyT-SNI (National Research System) in level C (candidate to national researcher).

Since 1995 I'm working with some universities and software consulting companies, actually I'm professor at Tijuana Institute of Technology and UNID and I'm an independent consultor since 1995.

I have 40+ publications in national and international high impact journals, book chapters and conferences. My research interest centers in computational intelligence, autonomous control, robotics and nonlinear systems; main interest is in type-2 fuzzy logic systems and applications and in evolutionary algorithms.

I'm student member of IEEE, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, IEEE Systems Man and Cybernetics Society, Hispanic-American Fuzzy Systems Association, and member of International Association of Engineers (AIENG), AIENG Artifical Intelligence Society, Mexican Association of Numeric's Methods Applied to Engineering, Mexican Society of Computational Science and member of the Young Research Commitee of the World Federation of Soft Computing.
