| Dusan Husek was born in 1950. He received the Ph.D. degree in technical cybernetics from the Technical University of Prague, Prague, Czech Republic, in 1983. His research and development experience includes over 30 years in the research. He works in a multi-disciplinary environment involving artificial intelligence, neural networks, machine learning, databases, information retrieval, semantic web, knowledge management, web intelligence and data mining. He has authored/co-authored several refereed journal/conference papers and book chapters. He has published more than 250 scientific papers. He is/was actively involved in many international conferences. Currently, he is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of the Computer Science, Academy of the Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague, Czech Republic, where he has headed many internationalresearch projects. His research interests include neural networks, information retrieval, semantics web, and neural network application in statistics. Dr. Husek is a member of International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC) section of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and member of editorial board of Neural Network World journal . |
