Professor Dr. V. H. Patil is currently working as Professor & Head of Computer Engineering department with additional responsibility of vice-principal at Matoshri College of Engineering & Research Centre situated at Nashik. She is one of the renowned academicians who has developed herself to be wealth of (27 years) experience in education and academic administration.

She pursued her Computer Engineering Amaravati University in 1990. Since then she is working in teaching profession. She has earned a Master of Computer Engineering from COEP Pune. Professor Patil holds a doctorate in Computer Engineering.

She is currently Coordinator of board of studies of Computer Engineering at Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has extended her expertise as member of Board of studies at Computer Engineering and IT at SPPU as well as other universities.

She is recipient of various honors & awards. To name few:

• “Best Teacher Award”, Savitribai Phule Pune University

• “Women ICON of Nashik”, Sakal Group, Nashik

• “Significant Contribution Award”, Computer Society of India,

• A state level Engineering Teacher Award, Engineering Foundation, Maharashtra

• Recipient of “Engineering Achievement Award” from Institution Engineers

She has authored 3 books in areas Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures and Theory of Computation published by renowned publishers as Tata McGraw Hill & Oxford University Press. These books are prescribed in syllabus at 50+ universities in India as well as internationally. She has also developed study material for distance course at WAWASAN (वावासन ) Open University, Malaysia. She has 50 papers to her credit, which are published at various national and international Journals and conferences. She is life member of various professional bodies.

Madam Patil is involved and has completed research projects under various funding bodies. She is contributing as reviewer, Session Chair & committee member to various International conferences and Journals. She has delivered expert talks on various subjects at various International & national level lecture series, STTPs, Seminars & Workshops for teachers as well as Students. Her areas of special interest include educational development and reform Engineering Education to raise the prestige of institute and every member of teacher fraternity.
