Short Biography

Dr. D. Jude Hemanth received his BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathiar University in 2002 and his Masters in Communication Systems from Anna University in the year 2004. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of ECE in Karunya University. He is on the verge of completing his Ph.D in the area of "soft computing techniques for pattern recognition" from the same university.

He has authored 35 refereed International Journals among which many are with high impact factors. He has also presented several papers in reputed IEEE International Conferences. He has authored 1 book and 1 book chapter with reputed International publishers. His research articles are cited by many international journals and have received approximately 41 citations. Two of his research papers are widely acclaimed by a weekly newsletter from USA.

      He has organized several special issues in International Journals and special sessions in International Conferences. He also served as the organizing committee member of several National/International conferences (both India and abroad). He serves in various positions of the editorial board (Assistant Editor, Section Editor, Guest Editor-in-Chief, etc) of different reputed International Journals across the globe. He has reviewed more than 100 research articles and an active member of professional bodies such as ISTE, Index Copernicus (IC), IACSIT, IAENG, etc. He has also actively involved in research projects funding from agencies such as CSIR, DST, etc.

       His academic background is very strong with University First Rank in PG degree and best outgoing student in UG degree. He has received several sponsorships for his research articles under best paper category. He has organized short-term courses and also has attended several workshops. His areas of interest include Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy techniques, Pattern Recognition & medical image analysis.
