Short Biography

I am working as a professor in CSE Department of PSG College of Technology.  I have 20 years of teaching experience. I have published 5 books and 20 papers in referred journals. I have coordinated two AICTE-RPS projects in the areas of distributed computing and service oriented architecture. I am currently coordinating the following research projects

1) PSG-Yahoo research in grid and cloud computing where enhancements have been made to hadoop platform. We are also running some applications on bioinformatics and privacy preserving data mining in these platforms.

2) Xurmo Research in big data analytics and social networking

3) Nokia Research in Personalisation

4) AICTE-RPS on "Code optimisation in CORBA based distributed systems", 2006-2008

5) AICTE-RPS on "Reengineering disastermanagement systems for better performance" 2008-2011.
