Short Biography

M. Tariq Banday was born in Srinagar, India. He did his M. Sc., M. Phil. and Ph. D. Degrees from the Department of Electronics, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India in 1996, 2008 and 2011 respectively. He did advanced diploma course in computers and qualified UGC NET examination in 1997 and 1998. At present he is working as Sr. Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Technology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India. He currently teaches various course papers of M.Sc. Electronics and B. Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering programmes. He also manages several departmental laboratories. He has to his credit about 60 research publications in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He is a member of Computer Society of India, International Association of Engineers, Academy for Computer Machinery, Computer Science Teachers Association, Internet Society, IACSIT, MIR Labs . His current research interests include Network Security and Forensics, Internet Protocols, Network Architecture, E-mail and Web Security and Programming Techniques .
