Dr. Binod Kumar is Professor at JSPM'S Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. He is having more than 22 years of experience in various capacities in research, teaching and academic administration. He has served in various AICTE approved Engineering  and Management Colleges  like MIT Academy of Engineering  Pune,  LNCT Bhopal, Medicaps Institute of Technology  Indore and Institute of Science & Technology for Advanced Studies & Research (ISTAR)  Anand, Gujarat. He got exposure as Associate Professor at School of Engineering and Computer Technology , Quest International University, MALAYSIA . He has been a guide and an evaluator for MCA/M. Phil. dissertations and Ph.D thesis of students of various Universities. He is recognized Ph.D guide in Computer Science & Computer Management under Savitribai Phule Pune University, Gondwana University Gadchiroli , AISECT Univ. Bhopal and PACFIC Univ. Udaipur. At present three Ph.D. candidates are registered under his supervision. He has obtained PhD (Computer Sc.) in 2010, M.Phil. (Computer Sc.) in 2006, MCA (NIT Jamshedpur) in 1998 and M.Sc.(BHU) & B.Sc.(BHU) in 1995 &1993 respectively.

 He served as Conference Chairman Committee Member at QUAESTI 2015, The 3^rd Virtual Multidisciplinary Conference, Slovakia. He is Advisory Board Member of RNB Global University, Rajasthan, India. He is reviewer of Journals like Elsevier, SpringerPlus and TPC of various IEEE sponsored conferences. He is Editorial Board member of nearly 45 International Journals. He has been associated with Technical Program Committee member (TPC) of nearly 50 International Conferences in India and abroad. He is Chief Editor of International Journal of Research in Computer Science and Management [ISSN (P): 2321-8088, ISSN (E):2455-5665] published by JSPM , Pune, India. He is Senior Member of IEEE Computer Society, senior member of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM, USA) , Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS, TIFR Mumbai),International Association of Engineers (IAENG,Hong Kong),Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers(UACEE) , Machine Intelligence Research Lab (MIR-LAB, USA), The Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications  (SDIWC), Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (IRED, USA ) . He has published nearly 35 papers in International and National Journals. His areas of interest are Data Mining, Bioinformatics and Machine Learning.
