| Short Biography |
| Cristóbal Romero is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Numerical Analysis at the University of Córdoba. He received his BSc and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Granada, Spain, in 1996 and 2003 respectively. He has published more than 40 international papers, 15 of which have been published in international journals. He is the co-editor of two books specifically regarding EDM. His current research interest is focussed on the application of data mining in e-learning systems. Dr. Romero is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, the International EDM Working Group and the steering committee of several conferences about education, personalisation and data mining. |
