Short Biography
Iva Bojic was born on August 1st, 1985 in Zagreb, Croatia. In the year 2004 she finished her high school education as the student of the generation. She continued her education at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, where she received M.C.S. degree on June 18th, 2009 at the Telecommunication Department. Her diploma thesis "Application of self-organized software agents in telecommunication service provisioning" was awarded with "Stanko Turk" annual award for the best diploma thesis in the field of the computer science. 
Iva Bojic received "Best Student Research Paper Award" at the 4th International KES Symposium on Agents and Multi-agent Systems – Technologies and Applications, AMSTA'10" and "Exceptional outstanding paper" award at the "32nd International Convention on Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Microelectronics, MIPRO'09". She received three "Josip Loncar" awards for results achieved in academic years 2007/2008, 2007/2006 and 2006/2005. In 2011 she received Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship for demonstrating outstanding involvement in an IEEE Computer Society Student Chapter, excellence in academic achievement and promise in future efforts.
Currently she is working at the Telecommunication Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing as a Research Associate. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.
She is a member of KES International associations and IEEE Student Ambassador Committee. She also serves as the IEEE Student Representative for IEEE Croatia Section and Student Representative in the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb.
