Short Biography
Hala Shawky Own received her B.Sc. with honors in 1988 and M.Sc. degree in 1995, both from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Science, Pure Mathematics and Computer Science Department, Cairo, Egypt. On 2003, she received her Ph.D. degree in the field of image processing, from Masnoura university, Faculty of Science, Computer Science Department, Mansoura, Egypt. Currently, she is a researcher at National Research Institute of Astronomy and geophysics (NRIARG), Helwan, Egypt. Her research interests are in the areas of, rough set theory, wavelet theory, medical image analysis, astronomical image analysis. Biometrics, computational forensics
