| Dr. Stephen Huang is professor of Computer Science at
the University of Houston, Houston, TX, USA. Dr. Huang served as the Computer
Science Department Chairperson between 2001 and 2004. His research interests include data
structures and algorithms, computer security, bioinformatics, and intrusion
detection. He received his BS degree in Mathematics from National Cheng Kung
University, Tainan, Taiwan and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science
from the University of Texas-Austin. He is a member of the ACM and a senior
member of the IEEE Computer Society. Dr. Huang served as a National Research
Council-NASA senior research associate at Goddard Space Flight Center in
1989-90. |
