Short Biography
Dra. Carmen Sanchez-Avila. She obtained his PhD in Mathematical Sciences in 1993, by the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM), being currently Associate Professor at UPM. She is now in leadership of the Research Group in Biometric and Numerical Treatment of Information (GBTNI), involved in project research and development concerning a broad range of applications, from Mobile Security Services till Fast Cryptographic Protocols and Secure Transmission of Large Packages of Data. She has taken part in the European Project BioSec. She is an expert in Biometric and Cryptografy Security and member of SC37 Standardization Committee.
