Professor Bao-long Guo, was born in 1962, in Shaanxi Province, China. He received the B. S. degree in 1984, the M. S. degree in 1988 and the Ph.D. degree in 1995, all in Communication and Electronic System from Xidian University, Xi'an, China. From 1998 to 1999, he was a visiting scholar in Doshisha University in Japan. Since 1998, Dr. Baolong Guo has been a full Professor in the school of Electromechanical Engineering, Xidian University. Since 1999, he was the Ph.D advisor at Xidian University. He was the Program Committee Chair of the 7th International Conference on Intelligent System Design and Applications (ISDA 2007), and General Co-chair of the Fifth International Conference on Information Assurance and Security (IAS 2009). He is also serving the editorial board of few International Journals. Since 1995, Porf.Guo has finished 3 projects supported by National Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
He was granted with over 10 national and ministry scientific projects, including national defense research project and national 863 High-Tech research project. He has published 6 books and more than 150 academic papers in journals and conferences. Recent years, he has won 5 national or provincial awards. Currently, several projects are carried out under his administration, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, national 863 High-Tech research project, natural science foundation of Shanxi Province, and Ph.D. subject research foundation. He also holds 4 national invention patents. |
