Davide Chiarella is a fellow researcher of National Research Council, one of the most active research public organizations of Italy. He received a PhD degree in Information Technology and MCS degree from the University of Genoa in 2010 and in 2005, respectively.

His research interests include network intrusion detection, virus and worm detection, data mining, computational linguistics and natural language processing.
