Asharaf S, Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode  received  his Master of Engineering and PhD degrees from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.  Prior to joining IIM Kozhikode, he has worked with America Online as a Research Scientist for three years. He has over eight years of teaching/research and industry experience in Information Technology and Management. He has published more than ten papers in international journals and conferences. He is a recipient of IBM Outstanding PhD student award. He serves as a reviewer for many international journals and conferences. His areas of interest are data

analytics, web mining, machine learning and web business models.
