Tareq Alhmiedat is an Associate Professor in the
Department of Computer Science, and the head of Robotics & Artificial
Intelligence Unit, in the Industrial Innovation & Robotics Center at
University of Tabuk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include
tracking mobile targets through Wireless Sensor Networks, robot navigation and
orientation, and robot vision systems. Dr. Alhmiedat has been involved in
various research projects including: SafetyNET, IndoorTrack, Diabetic Robotics,
and WSN environment monitoring.
