Short Biography
Slim Bechikh received the B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., and Habilitation degrees in computer science with management from the University of Tunis (ISG campus), Tunis, Tunisia, in 2006, 2008, 2013, and 2015, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the University of Carthage (FSEG-Nabeul campus), Nabeul, Tunisia. He is also a Research Director with the SMART Laboratory. He published over 45 research papers in refereed international journals, conference proceedings, and book series. His current research interests include multiobjective optimization, evolutionary computation, machine learning, and supply chain management. Dr. Bechikh was a recipient of the Best Paper Award of the ACM SAC- 2010 in Switzerland. He is a Reviewer for several international journals such as the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON EVOLUTIONARY COMPUTATION, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CYBERNETICS, and the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON EMERGING TOPICS IN COMPUTATIONAL INTELLIGENCE in addition to several conferences such as the IEEE Congress on Evolutionary Computation, the ACM Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference, and the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing.
