Short Biography

Fatai Anifowose obtained a PhD degree in 2014 from University of Malaysia, Sarawak, MS in 2009 from KFUPM and BTech. in 1999 from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. His interdisciplinary career has interwoven the Computational Intelligence aspect of Computer Science with the Reservoir Characterization aspect of Petroleum Geology. He has a total of 20 years post-graduation working experience. For over 7 years, he has been involved in the application of Advanced Data Mining, Big Data Analysis and Computational Intelligence Modeling techniques in petroleum reservoir characterization. He has developed a number of novel algorithms and published more than 50 technical papers in prestigious conferences and reputable journals. He is a member of SPE, International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology, and the Nigeria Computer Society.
