Waleed Ali is a PhD researcher at Faculty of Computer Science and Information Systems, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. He obtained his B.Sc (Computer Science) from Taiz  University, Yemen, and his M.Sc (Computer Science) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor, Malaysia. He is a member of the Soft Computing Research Group, UTM. He has published several papers in international journals, has attended many conferences and contributed in a number of book chapters. His research interests include Web caching, Web prefetching, Web usage mining, and machine learning techniques and their applications
