| Short Biography |
| Dr. Ravindra Babu T., has been working as Principal Researcher, E-Comm. Research Laboratories, E&R, Infosys for the last 3 years. He had earlier served ISRO for over 24 years as Scientist. He did his Ph.D. and M.Sc.(Engg) from Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under the guidance of Prof. M. Narasimha Murty. Dr. Ravindra Babu was awarded Seshgiri Kaikini medal for best M.Sc.(Engg) Thesis in the Division of Electrical Sciences, Indian Institute of Science.
The areas of his interest include Image Processing, Biometrics, Pattern Recognition, Data Mining, Evolutionary Algorithms, Large Data Clustering and Classification, Mathematical Modeling,Statistical Analysis; and Spacecraft Orbital Dynamics. He has a number of international journal/conference publications and Book-Chapters to his credit in the above areas. |
