Short Biography

Kai Meng TAY obtained the Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Hertfordshire, UK in 2002, both MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia in 2006, and 2011, respectively.  He served as an engineer and researcher in several multinational corporations, i.e., Motorola Technology, Intel Technology and Matsushita (Panasonic) Electronic DevicesHe is currently an academician at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak.  His research interests include fuzzy systems, failure analysis, and evolutionary computations.  He has published more than 40 papers in journals, conference proceedings, and books.
