Short Biography

Received the M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Computer Science from University of Mysore, Mysore, India, in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He did his Post Doctoral degree from University of Genova, Italy in 2010. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in Dept. of Information Science and Engineering, DSCE, Bangalore.

Recipient of “Young Indian Research Scientist” award from Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, Italy in 2009-2010. He has more than 7 years of research experience and has two major research projects from DST and AICTE.

His professional recognition includes as a Technical Editor for Journal of Convergence Information Technology (JCIT), Editor Board in Journal of Intelligent Systems, reviewer for IEEE Trans on System, Man and Cybernetics - PART B, International Journal of Pattern Recognition (PR), International Journal of Pattern Recognition Letters (PRL) etc. Also worked as an Evaluation Expert for UGC-NET, New Delhi.

Recently his paper has been rated”Top 20 Most Accessed Articles”, SiMOR: Single Moving Object  Recognition in Journal of Intelligent Systems.

He is currently guiding 5 Ph.D’s working in different area of IP and PR. He has published around 75 research papers in reputed international journals, conference proceedings, and edited books.
