Dr. Vishal Mathur is presently giving his services in Sur University College, Oman in the capacity of Assistant Professor. Dr. Mathur obtained his Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Physics from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. In his academic career spanning over 15 years, he has been associated with various renowned institutes and university like S. S. Jain Subodh P.G. College, Jaipur, Kautilya Institute of Technology & Engineering, Sitapura, Jaipur and The ICFAI University Jaipur, in India. His research area belongs to Material Science particularly in the field of study of Polymer Nanocomposites, Dilute Magnetic Semiconductors, Energy Saving and Antenna Designing Materials. He has published many research papers in the journals of international repute. He has supervised four candidates for their doctoral (Ph.D.) degree. He has authored two text books of Engineering Physics. He has attended various Conferences, Symposia and Short-term training programs. He is a Fellow Member of Thermophysical Society of India (TPSI) and The Indian Society of Technical Education.

1. Organized Two days workshop on "Solar Energy" (27-29 April 2017) under Solar Electrical Training Programme at The ICFAI University, Jaipur in association with Advit Foundation with support from Applied Materials.  

2.Organized National Conference on “ Emerging Trends in Wireless, Optical and Nanotechnology ( ETWON-2013)” , as a Co-convener from Department of Engineering Physics in collaboration with Electronics and Communication Engineering Department held on 23rd Feb-2013at Kautilya Institute of Technology & Engineering, Sitapura, Jaipur.
