Uduak Umoh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.  She received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science in the area of Soft Computing from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in the year 2012, Master’s degree in Computer Science in the area of Database Management System from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in the year 2006 and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria in 2007.

She is currently working as a researcher, a lecturer and the Head of Department of Computer Science, in the University of Uyo and Adjunct lecturer in Akwa Ibom State University and Obong University, Nigeria.

Her main research interests are: artificial intelligence, Soft Computing, computational intelligence, intelligent systems, machine learning, industrial applications, Hybrid models, Database System, Data Communications, etc. Original results have been published in 60 papers in international journals, proceedings of international conferences, books,

and book chapters.
