Shashikumar G. Totad received the B.E. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum (Karnataka University, Dharwad) in1990 and M.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering (Shivaji University, Kolhapur) in 2003. He is pursuing his Ph.D. at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He worked as lecturer at KLE’s College of Engineering Technology, Belgaum during 1991- 2000 and as Assistant Professor at BVB College of Engineering during 2001-2006. He is currently working as Professor and Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at GMR Institute of Technology, RAJAM, India. He has published over 42 papers in national and international conferences and journals. His research interests include data mining, distributed databases, and mobile agents. He is a life member of ISTE and CSI.
