C. John Moses was graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1996 from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. He obtained his M.E. degree from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai in 1999, specializing in Applied Electronics. He joined as a Research Scholar under Dr. D. Selvathi, Senior Professor, Department of ECE, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi and he obtained Ph. D. degree from Anna University, Chennai for his research work on “Some Studies on Realization of Image Interpolation Algorithms in FPGA” in 2017. His area of specialization is Information and Communication Engineering. He has 2.9 years of industrial experience. He is in the teaching profession for the past eighteen years. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. He has twenty international publications in Journals, more than thirty-five papers in International/National Conferences and one book to his credit. His research interests are mainly focused on Reconfigurable Computing, Embedded Computing and Image Processing. Further, he is active in the area of VLSI Design and its applications in connection with Processor Architecture and Signal Processing. He is a resource person in various Seminar and Workshop in the field of VLSI Design for Image Processing Circuits. He offered tutorials on ASIC Design, Digital Signal Processing and Xilinx System Generator for Signal Processing. He is a reviewer on different publications such as China Communication/IEEE Publishers, IET, Elsevier, Inderscience Publishers, Sreyas International Journal of Scientists and Technocrats. He is an Associate Editor of Journal of Advance .Electronics and Communication Engineering. He has acted as coordinator for many workshops, Seminars, International Conferences and International Assignments like MoU with foreign universities. He visited various technical universities in Malaysia and organized student exposure programs in association with Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. He is a senior member of IEEE, Life Member of ISTE and Professional Member of IET and ACM. He has acted as Counselor of IEEE Student Branch of SXCCE from 2006 to 2014, Chair of IEEE Madras Education Society Chapter from 2013 to 2015 and Faculty Sponsor of SXCCE ACM Student Chapter from 2014 to 2017. Currently he is a Faculty Advisor of IEEE Signal Processing Society Student Branch Chapter of Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology and member of Signal Processing Excellence Centre and VLSI Design Centre of Excellence of Sreyas Institute of Engineering and Technology. He received the Outstanding Branch Counselor 2013 award and IEEE MGM award 2019 from IEEE, USA. When not engaged in academic thoughts, he prefers to involve in counseling youngsters, music or reading. His current research interest are internet of things, embedded systems and machine learning systems.
