Short Biography

Pawan Kumar Singh received his B. Tech degree in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology in 2010. He received his M. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and Ph.D. (Engineering) degrees from Jadavpur University (J.U.) in 2013 and 2018 respectively. He also received the RUSA 2.0 fellowship for pursuing his post-doctoral research in J.U. in 2019. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology in J.U. He has published more than 50 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. His areas of current research interest are Pattern Recognition, Handwritten Document Analysis, Image Processing, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He is a member of the IEEE, U.S.A, Computer Society of India (CSI), Indian Society for Technical Education (I.S.T.E.) and Associate Member of I.E (India).
