| Professor Rao Vemuri received his PhD degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 1968. He joined UC Davis faculty in 1986 and held a joint appointment with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory until January 2008. Prior to his current position he taught at SUNY, Binghamton and Purdue University, West Lafayette. He also worked at TRW, Redondo Beach. His current research interests are in Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery and their applications to network security and signal processing. He was founder/CEO of Smartifacts, LLC and an advisor to Buddibot. He served on the editorial boards of several journals and was the Editor-in-Chief of CS Press. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and member of ACM. |
