Heba F. Eid received her BSc with honours in 2005

at Pure Mathematics and Computer Science, from Faculty of Science,

Al-Azhar University. She received her MSc in Distributed database systems

and her PhD in Network Intusion Detection, both from Faculty of Science,

Al-Azhar University, Egypt. Currently her research interests are in the areas of

machine learning, network security, intrusion detection, computer vision and

metaheuristics optimisation strategies.
