| Jesus-Antonio Hernandez-Riveros received the Electrical Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, the M.S. degree in Computer Sciences from EAFIT University , and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciences (with Honors) from Universidade da Coru a , Galicia - Spain . He has been working as a consultant engineer in the Colombian electrical energy sector. In 1992 he joined Universidad Nacional de Colombia as a Special Professor. He is currently a member of the faculty staff as a Full Professor at the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Author of several books and journal and conferences refereed papers. He has been involved in the organization of several conferences and is a regular reviewer of international conferences and reputed international journals in his areas of interest. His research subjects include computational intelligence in engineering, evolutionary computation in control systems, and modeling of emergency systems. |
