A Praveena , is  currently working  as  an  Assistant  Professor-   in  Department  of  Computer  Science  and  Engineering     at  Jansons Institute of Technology, Coimbatore,  Tamil   Nadu.  

She   obtained   his   UG  degree  in  B  E  Computer  Science  and  Engineering  from  Sona College of Technology, Salem in    2003,    M.E    Degree    in  Computer Science and Engineering  from  Sona College of Technology, Salem in  2005, M.B.A from Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras in 2009 and pursing Ph.D in the field of Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University Chennai.

Her research area is focused on Network Security, Computer Networks, Reconfigurable Computing. She has published 45 technical papers in referred journals, national and international conferences in her research area.

She has received “Padma Jyothi Gold Medal Award” for Excellence in respective field on the occasion of 27th National Seminar on “Individual Achievements & National Development” on 26th January 2018, at Bangalor and “Rajiv Gandhi Gold Medal Award” for Excellence in respective field on the occasion of 27th National Seminar on “Individual Achievements & National Development” on 20th August 2015, at Bangalore

She is life member in the professional societies like ISTE, IAENG, IRED. She is also reviewer for International Journals and Editorial board member, Advisory committee member in conferences and Journals.
