Short Biography

Amit K Shukla is currently a DST-SRF INSPIRE fellow and a doctoral student at South Asian University, New Delhi, India. He is expected to submit his PhD thesis by May, 2018. His research areas include but not limited to: Fuzzy sets, higher order uncertainty modelling (Type-2 fuzzy sets), Deep Learning and Soft computing techniques. In addition to his dissertation research, he is an enthusiast in wide area of research’s including big data analytics, real-time embedded systems and, transfer learning.

Amit has Master of Science in Computer Science from South Asian University. He is a Gold Medallist in his Masters degree. He has completed his graduation (BSc (H) computer science) from University of Delhi with first division. After the graduation, Amit has worked as Engineer in Aricent Group, Gurugram , India.  Before undertaking doctoral studies in 2014, Amit worked as a Senior-Software Test Engineer in HCL technologies, Noida, India.
