Hannan Xiao received her B.Eng. degree in 1992 and M.Eng. degree in 1995, both in electronics and information system engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei, China, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2003.
She was a hands-on network engineer at the Central China Regional Network Center of China Education and Research NETwork (CERNET) from 1995 to 1998, and a Research Fellow with the National University of Singapore from 2002 to 2003. Since October 2003, She has been with the School of Computer Science, University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, U.K. Her research interests are in the areas of wireless networks and mobile computing, ad hoc networks and sensor networks, network security, and security in distributed systems. |
