Dmitri A. Rachkovskij received his DSc degree in Artificial Intelligence from International Research and Training Center for Information Technologies and Systems (National Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine), Kiev, Ukraine, in 2008. He received his PhD degree from V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics, Kiev, Ukraine, in 1990, and the MS degree in radiophysics from Rostov State University, Russia, in 1983. In 1987 he joined Cybernetics Center, Kiev, Ukraine, where he is currently a Leading Research Scientist. Dr. Rachkovskij participated or headed over 20 projects and published over 70 papers, including those in high-impact international journals. He is a member of the INNS, ACL, CSS professional societies.
Dr. Rachkovskij's research has been connected with the domain of Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks. He developed algorithms for a number of applications, including acoustical and image recognition, information retrieval and filtering, as well as software and hardware neurocomputers. He also worked extensively in the areas of classification, pattern recognition, and micromechanics. Dr. Rachkovskij's current interests focus on neural distributed representation of information, knowledge bases and analogical reasoning, smart information retrieval and clustering. as well as agile software development and project management, and TOC management philosophy. He is also an advisor to Artifact Manager. |
