Short Biography

Dr. Neha Sharma is serving as Professor at Institute of Industrial and Computer Management and Research, Pune, (IICMR.). Prior to this she has worked as Director, Zeal Institute of Business Administration, Computer Application & Research, Narhegaon, Pune, Maharashtra, India and as Dy. Director, Padmashree Dr. D.Y.Patil Institute of Master of Computer Applications, Akurdi, Pune. She is an alumnus of a premier College of Engineering affiliated to Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneshwar.  Neha Sharma has completed her PhD from prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad. She is a Website and Newsletter Chair of IEEE Pune Section and served as Student Activity Committee Chair for IEEE Pune Section as well. She is an astute academician and has organized several national and international conferences and seminars. She has published several papers in reputed indexed journals, both national as well as international. She is a well known figure among the IT circle of Pune, and well sought over for her sound knowledge and professional skills. Neha Sharma has been instrumental in integrating teaching with the current needs of the Industry and steering the college to the present stature. Not only loved by her students, who currently are employed in reputed firms; for her passion to mingle freely with every one, Neha Sharma enjoys the support of her colleagues as well. She is the recipient of “Best PhD Thesis Award” and “Best Paper Presenter at International Conference Award” at National Level by Computer Society of India. Her area of interest includes Data Mining, Database Design, Analysis and Design, Artificial intelligence, Big data and Cloud Computing.

19.  Organized International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovation 2017 was held on 24-26 February 2017at Zeal Education Society. Padmabhushan Dr.Vijay Bhatkar, Dr.P.K.Sinha, Vice Chancellor and Director, Dr.S.P. Mukharjee, International Institute of Information Technology and Dr. Neha Sharma, Director ZIBACAR, are the General Chairs of the conference. The conference is technically supported by IEEE Pune Section and IEEE Computer Society. Reliance Jio was the digital partner, Creosis was our Technology Partner and other partners were Eternus Solutions, Union Bank of India, Hartleys Technologies, Prabha Info Solutions and Capital Novus are technology partners. 450 Research papers had been submitted for this conference and out of them only 15% papers were selected for oral presentation. Around 120 delegates from eight different countries like Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Romania, Nigeria, US, Yemen & India, had registered for this conference. The other attractions of the conference were pre-conference tutorials mainly in two tracks (Academia & Industry) on latest topics, Robotics show by DRDO, Innovation track and smart city discussion. The proceedings of ICDMAI – 2017 is published in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.

20.      Organized 2nd International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovation 2017 was held on 19-21 January 2018 at Institute of Industrial and Computer Management and Research (IICMR). The conference was jointly organized by Computer Society of India and IICMR. The conference was supported by industry leaders like TCS, IBM, Ellicium Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Omneslaw Pvt. Ltd, Cubix and premier academic universities like Savitribai Phule Pune University-Pune, Lincoln University-Malaysia, Defence Institute of Advanced Technology-Pune. The conference witnessed participants from 14 industries and 10 international universities from 14 countries. Total 488 papers submitted to ICDMAI 2018 from 133 institutions and only 19% (93 papers) are selected for oral presentation.
