Dr. Manik Sharma is MCA, UGC-NET qualified and has received his Ph.D. degree in design and analysis of distributed query optimization. He has around 12 years of teaching experience.  He has worked as a head of department of Computer Science and Application at Sewa Devi SD College Tarn Taran. Additionally, he has also acted as an officiating principal at Sewa Devi SD College Tarn Taran.  Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science and Applications at DAV University Jalandhar, India. His areas of research are Data Mining, Machine Learning and Soft Computing. He has also published 03 books related to Computer Network, Internet Applications and Database Theory. In addition, he has published 15 research papers in various journals of International repute. He also presented eight research papers in different national and international conferences. Besides, he has given several talks on query optimization, data mining and health informatics. Moreover, he is an active member of several International Program Committee, Technical Program Committee, and Advisory Committee of several academics conferences (United Kingdom, Singapore, Mauritius, Thailand, Vietnam, USA, Hong Kong, Canada, UAE, and India).
