He had a Diploma in Law from Aminu Kano School of Islamic and Legal Studies, Kano, Certificate in Computer Appreciation from Bayero University, Kano, International Diploma and Advance Diploma in Computing from Informatics Institute Singapore, B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing from University of Portsmouth U.K, Masters in Business Administration (MBA), University of Wales, UK and M.Sc. Computer Science from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.
