Short Biography
I completed Ph.D. in Computer Technology from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. I have worked in joint association with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Mathematics, IIT Delhi, in an interdisciplinary research area of Computer Vision Algebraic Geometry, Deep Learning and Multi-view 3D imaging.

As a researcher, I had the opportunity to design algorithms for auto-stereoscopic, auto-multiscopic and non-perspective 3D Display systems. My Ph.D. thesis entitled “Uncalibrated Camera Based Content Generation for 3D Multi-view Displays” which I successfully defended in May 2017, provides unique machine learning and multi-camera based solutions that are vital to support a wide spectrum of 3D TV content production chain with uncalibrated inputs. Before joining Ph.D. in July 2010, I completed a M.Sc. in Mathematics (2006-2008) and received a M.Tech. in Computer Applications (2008-2010) from Department of Mathematics, IIT Delhi.

I have been working in the following areas of research:

    - Computer Vision
    - Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition
    - Multi-view Imaging and 3D Displays
    - Computational Photography
    - Tensor Methods in Deep Learning
    - Computational Algebraic Geometry
    - Signal Processing & Communication

My endeavor is to pursue a career in research, and also to make significant contributions in 3D Computer Vision, AI and Computational Mathematics.
